What kind of Humanity is this?

Damn, reading the newspaper today was supposed to be interesting and relaxing. Little did I know, I bumped to this article:

Dog loses jaw after cruel beating

JOY, a little black dog whose jaw was surgically removed after he was almost beaten to death, still looks at humans with love.

Despite the cruelty rendered to him, he still looks at people to be petted and loved.

On Dec 2, Sabrina Yeap, managing partner of the Furry Friends Farm (FFF), rescued Joy at the Ki-Park Sri Utara construction site belonging to developer, Kepong Industrial Park Sdn Bhd (KIP Group).

Joy's lower jaw was dangling and his tongue was hanging out.

Two eyewitnesses said they had seen him being beaten by Indonesian foreign workers who kept calling the dog haram as they continuously beat it.

Joy’s lower jaw was so badly injured that it had to be surgically removed, but its tongue was saved despite having lacerations and blood clots.

Dr Habeeb Rahman Ibramsa, a lecturer in Quran and Sunnah studies at the International Islamic University in Gombak, volunteered to give a talk to the foreign workers who were involved in the beating of Joy.

But, to date, the owners of KIP Group has refused to co-operate.

“I wish to end this ignorance. The Quran does not support violence against animals; I am willing to give lectures, presentations and screen videos that support what I am saying.

“I hope the public, Government officials, foreign workers and others who need to hear this truth will attend,” said Dr Habeeb.

Yeap said FFF was not looking for the government to punish the people who did this to Joy.
“We are calling on the government to support our public education projects by persuading the developer, KIP Group, to allow us to educate their workers.

“Joy may not be able to fetch a ball or toy anymore but he still knows how to show his delight in human companionship,” Yeap said.

A little gathering will be held at the Canteen Restaurant in Plaza Damas to support Joy.
Those interested in attending can also bring a little gift for him.

For details, call Yeap at 016-631 9018.

How could people act on such cruelty. The best part is that guy yelling "Haram" which means illegal. How the hell is a dog illegal? Though in Islamic studies dogs are inappropriate creatures in their eyes, doesn't mean that humans have the right to be cruel to them. Try pulling this stance in United States, they'll drag your sorry ass to a cell block.

BIG dinner...

Last Friday, my colleagues and I had this craving to try out the Alaskan Spider Crab... Seems like this 1 crab alone can be made into 4 dishes, enough to feed 10 people...so yea, you can guess how curious we could get...
After work we went to this nearby restaurant called the seafood paradise at Conlay Club. Looks like a high class restaurant thought and we all dress up like normal casual wear... I mean who cares? We have the money, We're hungry, We'll just go eat!
First, we chose which crab to take for dinner from this big ass aquarium. We spotted one that is about 2.5kg. Do bear in mind, the crab costs RM19.80 per 100gram... so the crab alone of 2.5kg costed us RM549.50 hahaha, tell me I'm crazy...

Please ignore the guy. He's just too suprised seeing something so huge in his entire life...
We also ordered some extra dishes as fail safe plan in case the crab does not fill us up good enough. so we had chicken, tofu and green bean.
As we patiently waited for the food to cook, well you guys can see how tiringly hungry I was. (not to mention I was on fever that day)

Finally the crab came in four different dishes!! yay, time to wack it up!!

This is just the legs and the knucles...

Then they used the shell to make steamed eggs.

Lower part of the legs are used for BBQ purposes.
Check the MEAT on just the LEGS... our normal grabs cant even get close to this amount of meat!
Then here's rest of the meat... I feel a little wasted and conned but then again, I don't care! I was sick and hungry! haha
Then the rest of the side orders came in as well..
At the end, the whole deal cost us RM777.89...there's like 8 of us so each had to fork out RM97. A little too costly but hey, it may only be a one time experience. Anyone who wanna know mroe about this place could drop me a note with your email address and I'll show you where it is.

For Religion or for Weirdness?

Read the papers today? What on earth Kelantan Government is trying to do? Drive us all to nuts?! Such discrimination; Such disrespect. Such chauvinist act! Did they ever think of what the women has to say? Or is it that they themselves (Government) need to control such dress codes so that they themselves would not be tempted to commit crimes?

I won't mind what they do to the state of Kelantan but this is going to far. They are violating human's rights with disrespect, the worse of all. They are dropping the standards of men and insulting men like us (ME...hehe) who has a mutual respect for women and their rights. Sia Sui la like this...

What they want the women to wear? Like this??

There are countried where women are to wear like this. This is because these countries are Islamic countries, htey had no choice but to abide in that law. But for Malaysia, the government had been proudly claiming that this is a multi racial country, therefore they should learn to respect other races and their own beliefs as well.
Scenario1:

Imagine all of the women in malaysia have to abide in this 1 day...
you'll have a few people taking pictures together and...

Man1: Wah, Who's picture is this??
Man2: Well, The red circle is my wife, and the blue circle is my daughter.
Man1: Are you sure??
Man2: I guess...It's so friggin hard to identify them since they had to wear like this!!!

Scenario 2:

Man1: Wai seh, Damn proud leh me...My wife went on strike just for my beliefs...
Man2: Which is your wife?
Man1: Neh, that wan...no no, this one...ermm, I dunno which is it....
Man2: =.='
