Why Is The Rum Gone?

Sixteen men on a dead man's chest...yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

Me matey and I had a were supposed to have a night out together to try out our new prized possession. Pirate's choice RUM! It's a Rum I got from a treasure chest I found on a secluded island in the vast seas of the carribean (the internet =.=")

We brought the bottle and headed to our destinations to meet up with other of me mates, scourge of the bounding main to devour this vile liquid of haven. As we sat on your spanish galleon together getting ready for our feast of rum, we noticed the bottle had gone!

Me: Where is she? Shiver me timbers, it has been taken away!
Mate1: By the curse of Davey Jones, Our prize had been plundered from us!
Me: Let us set sail to find me bottle and get that blasted tinkerbell to pay for his sins!
Mate1 and Mate2: AYE!

As we sail across every corner of the carribean we searched long, we searched hard! After a long search, we finally foudn the black-hearted pirate who stole our stash! What we found? An empty bottle?!!

Me: ARGH!!! You little twit! Curse the mother of the black seas What have ye done?! Why is the Rum GONE?!!
Thief: Coz I drank it all you fool~
Me: ARGH! Dammit you're right....stupid question it is. Nevermind then....

Somehow this sounds so wrong and lame! LOL sounds more like desperation. Oh well, It was a request from nuffnang but was kept pushing by a blog friend of mine to post something up with Rum!! hahahaha

Food in Penang

These are the pictures I took on food that I had in Penang. Damn the food is good. Oh ya, This is my first time to Victoria Station as well. Apparently someone cursed me BABI HUTAN when I replied an SMS saying I'm eating there...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Tried the pic with flash on, obviously flash somehow sucks.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Much better eh with just appature without flash.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I ordered Victoria Steak and it's soooo goooooood....

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The previous picture I took has my shadow in there so this is a better one.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The next day while my friend had to go work, I walked all the way to Bukit Jambul complex. I was so hungry yet I'm actually on a minor diet. No Carbohydrates!! So I went Coffee Bean for something light.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I ordered mocha ice blended. See no whipped cream as well.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And the ceaser salad I somewhat crave. Don't look much light ceaser salad but whatever you know? I was just too hunry to think.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Later that evening for dinner, My friend brought me to Queensbay Mall for dinner. A restaurant called Breeks. Queensbay Mall is sooo Huge! bigger than any shopping mall you been through in KL. But the food in Breeks, I guess you could take a rain check next time if you wanna go there. I had this fish thingie I cant remember the exact name.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
As you see there's spaggethi there as well. Since I had salad only for lunch, I allowed myself to devour a little sin. LOL

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My best friend however ordered some kind of pasta. Looks weird I tell you. Just somehow the camera made a good picture of it.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Another friend of mine had Some sort of chicken chop. Looks delicious and it's rating somewhere 7 out of 10 I would give them.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The next day, I told myself, That's IT! I need to have some REAL food in Penang else it don't mean I've been there. So we went to the Ever famous Laksa Stall near the Ke Lok Si temple in Ayer Hitam. Hot day I tell you, not the best time to have something so spicy. I seriously sweated like a pig.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Laksa for some who don't know, is a kind of noodle, mixed with soury and spicy flavour. It also has bits and pieces of fish meat in it mixed with prawn's paste. One of malaysia's finest creativity of food if I should say so myself.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is how a bowl of Laksa looks like. Yea I know, to some it does not look nice, but really you ought to try it if you ever get a chance to.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We ordered friend spring roll as well.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Later then, I told my friends, Since the weather is so hot, why not we have some cold desserts to cool off ourselves? I'm thinking, Penang Road's Cendol!! Cendol is an icy dessert with coconut essense? and some brown sugar with some greenish wormlike flour jelly and red bean. LOL somehow I'm not doing a very good job at describing the content of a food. I'm a IT Specialist and a System Engineer, not a chef so cut me some slack ok?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is how Cendol Looks like. Good stuff you know. LOL

Later that night we had Grilled fish by the seaside. I'm sorry I forgotten to take pictures of the food. We were too concentrated on the food that we start to get our engines working the moment the food arrives. LOL Thousand apologies folks.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The next day, before I'm about to leave Penang and head to the airport, My friends said they ought to bring me to have some famous Char Koey Teow a.k.a Fried Noodles. I was asking whether is it the ever famous Sisters' Char Koey Teow and they said there's a place much much better than the Sisters. So well Here we go.

The picture above is another stall selling spring rolls, something like earlier before. I just have to try it. LOL Unfortunately, Ipoh's Kong Heng has the best spring roll I've ever tasted. Will take a picture of it next time when I have a chance to be in Ipoh again. :)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
There you go, The so called better than the Sisters' Char Koey Teow stall. Umm, there's 3 sisters there too. I think they're trying to steal the original sisters' trademark. Check out the price. For a large plate, I could get 2 LARGE plates in KL already. It was good no doubt. But sorry I had nothing to compare it with so I won't know exactly how good are they in Penang.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
As you can see, The older sister is the one frying and cooking and the other 2 is helping with customers and with the ingrediants. 1 thing I don't really like though, There's a stall there and we as patrons goes in the shop to sit. Normally cooks like them would take our orders and bring it to us while we sit and wait. Their's is a total different approach.

You wait, queueing up, pay when it's your turn and bring it yourself to your table. So much for customer services eh? Not to mention the queue was long. But I guess it's all in the good name of experience. LOL That's all I have for now. Will post more pictures of Penang soon enough. Stay tunr k?

Best Advertisement yet to be seen.

I've gotta do this! I know it's wrong to copy stuff from other blogs but I'm sorry Kenny, but this is really too hard to resist.

This is an advertisement they put up in Taiwan saying "Let Shanghai Bank manage your finance. Bring PUKI home!"

I wonder any of us Malaysians who so happens to bump to this, I bet they would start laughing really loud, really hard till their stomach coils inside them! Well I know I would.

So PUKI anyone?? Or would you wanna bring home their mom? PUKIMAK??

Note:
Puki - In proper English, it's called a vagina, Pussy if you want.
Pukimak - Mom's vagina; Mom's Pussy

Evening with Chili's and My KTV

Last week I had a couple of colleagues calling me up when I was at home demanding me to come out to Mega Mall for a drink. There I was comfortably sitting in my home PC chatting and playing some games, I was moved from my comfort zone to Mega Mall.

Upon reaching there, we decided to have some "drinks" at Chili's as most of the shops then are closed. What a good timing huh? LOL...

So we orderes some drinks, well only Daniel and I had alcoholic drinks but the 2 girls did not.

Daniel had Bailey's for the first time.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I had Malibu Rum.

Had a nice time talking and crapping most of all but well at least it gets me off the stress I'm going through.

Later then we went to this Karaoke in the same building called MY KTV. It looked pretty well build from the outside but unfortunately inside tells a whole different story. They do have a self service bar for you to get your drinks and so on. The rooms are fairly clean but as a person who doesn't go to karaoke all that often, The variety of songs they have there really sucks to the max!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Thank God that I still have a fresh pack of cigerrates if not I guess I'll be bored to death. I don't sing...much but the least I have is something to keep me entertained. Oh yes, This picture is taken by Daniel; first time on a DSLR camera I must say he did a pretty good job. Kudos Mate~

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is a picture I took myself to show Daniel in differences of functions, I kinda like this so I posted up here.

Crystal and her friend getting comfortable but yet they still complain the air-cond is too cold for them to handle. LOL In my mind, Crystal? Cold? LOL her size somehow makes me doubt it.

There's Daniel getting comfortable.

A group picture after the whole karaoke session.

Honestly, I think that whole place sucks, MY KTV I mean. It's a no wonder so few people patronize that place. It's already a pain for Mega Mall to increase their parking fee and the service that bad, It's only a matter of time before the business goes down the drains. So if the management of the KTV is reading this, Please do something about your current business situation of be prepared for the worst outcome. *Evil laugh*

I know I'm bad but hey, I'm doing this so people who reads my blog would know it's not an ideal place to hang out and have a good time. It's merely for the better cause ok? Cheers

Rest well my friend, rest well...

This entry is dedicated to a friend of mine, Kenneth Woo B'ng Hui. Born on 25th December 1987, Died on 2nd May 2003. Today marks his 4th death anniversary.

Kenneth started as an apprentice of mine during my days in IB Systems. Well he was 16 then; and in college already. Yea I must admit, he's a smart kid. A rich one too. But for a kid this rich, I really enjoy his friendship as he does not portray the spoil brat attitude that normally rich kids do these days. Really down to earth kinda guy.

On the night of 1st May 2003, I asked Kenneth to join my friends and I for a drink in one of the pubs in Bangsar. Initially our gathering was set at 11:30pm. Kenneth had some errands to run before joining up so he ended up pretty late and we were done with our bottle of Chivas already. All that was left was a can of Coke so I told him, "Since you come late there's nothing much for you to drink so here you go, finish this can of coke up!" A while later we all decided to call it a day as most of us were pretty worn out. So Kenneth then went somewhere else with his friend and we parted our ways.

The next morning, I received a call from Kenneth's mom's colleague, Felicia. She told me that Kenneth had passed on due to a road accident 4am last night. I didn't believe her as I told her I was with Kenneth the night before. She asked me to come down to the morgue if I don't believe. I went and I saw something that my eyes and mind refuse to believe. Laying there is Kenneth's lifeless corpse.

It took me a really long while to accept the fact as I felt then it was my fault of his death. If I hadn't asked him out the night before he would be perfectly safe at home. It's tough knowing that a close friend like him had to leave so early. As days passed and months went on, I slowly let go and learned to accept the fact that people come and go all the time. Time wasn't the factor at all.

So Kenneth if by any chance you see this entry from where ever you are, know that a whole lot of us missed you heaps bro. Will come by visit you later today and I'll definitely bring your favourite soya bean drink! Cheers bro; Hope you have a better life than anyone of us here.

Copper's First Night Out with His Sister

Last Thursday Copper finally goes out to town for his first Yam Cha Session with his long lost Sister, Chansey. It was held in SS2, Island Cafe. It's a pet friendly cafe so you can bring your pet along while you're having your dinner or drink sessions.

I would say the cafe has a good environment with dim lightings and comfortable soothing music. Well at least I think so. LOL. Copper's too hyper active with Chansey till I hardly had any chance to notice the music there.

Wanna see how Chansey looks like? Here goes..

1 Thing I can say about Chansey though is that she has a very sweet looking face. Active too. in a very adorable feminine way. But the problem is for a dog her age, her size is small and she's kinda under weight, according to the owner which she got the feedback from Chansey's vet. Apart from that. She's pretty much posseses the traits of a Golden Retriever.

On the other hand, Copper grew bigger in size and well, with the weight of 6kg and growing! One thing about Copper though, you cannot lie down on the same level with him else he'll lick the lights out of your face! Tried it and I had to cover my face with my arms to duck his licking attacks! Enjoyable really but somehow my conscience tells me it's disgusting! haha...

See how big he grew~ Nevertheless he's still charming. Some people said Copper's no longer Leng Chai but I beg to differ! Don't you agree? LOL...

People Mountain People Sea

Last weekend we had an event called.... PC FAIR!

I actually don't understand what's the fuss about. It took me 2 hours to get from Subang to office in KL that day. I was so frustruated of the traffic.

So after working, my colleagues and I decided to attend the PC fair. It's quite a fair distant I must say as it took us a good 20 minutes to walk there. The jam was so bad that we ended up walking. sigh.

Here are the pics...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This event is being held in KLCC convention center and when we reached the area, there were these big signs for us to follow to reach the exhibition.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And of course there's these huge banners hanging around.

The place was so packed that we're like sardines in a can. I mean what is so great about this fair that everybody seems to get their precious time off just to be there?

Of course i have to give it to them that there's so many brands available in the fair that sometimes we ourselves didn't really see. Here's some...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
There's Sony

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
There's Edifier, a brand for computer speakers. There's a lot others too that section. All speakers. The room itself is like a disco with multiple sounds and songs.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
All time favourite Samsung

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
NEC as well. Kudos to their decoration

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Asus was there too.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Canon

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Apple was there too. My all time favourite.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Nikon too. It's PC fair... or Computer fair. I wonder what's a camera product doing there. Never the less, the deco was cool...

Apart from the decorations, There were models as well. Not much but a handful. I wanted to take some more pictures of these lovely thing but unfortunately I can't. I had to buy a printer for my aunt so ended up me carrying the thing all around. It's so bloody heavy and that encumbered me from taking more photo shots. So here's the few I only have.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Whoah~~ check out them outfits! Speaking of fantasies, we have our very own here. Don't ask me from which company. I can't remember. LOL

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This girl is very cute. She was passing flyers to everyone until she saw me taking my camera focusing on her, She immediately stopped and posed!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This girl is like as if going to eat up her customer. LOL

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The guy in yellow. I'm not sure whether is he a model or what but he is definitely staring at me. Later only I found out that he's a boyfriend to a colleague of mine who so happens to be there as well. Hahaha...

Last week, I was talking to my colleague about the PC fair and here was how it went:

Me: This coming weekend is PC fair. Wanna go?
Colleague: I guess so, If you and AF going, I'll be going.
Me: Yea then join us. We'll be going. Besides I'm going to visit my sister who's working there.
Colleague: What's she working there?
Me: A model.
Colleague: Model? wearing skimpy clothings?
Me: Yeap I guess. Selling products lo.
Colleague: Models sell products wan meh? I thought they only there to pai leng?
Me: Nope. In PC Fair, models also sell stuff.
Colleague: No la...models are different
Me: How so?
Colleague: Promoter are the ones who sell stuff. Models are the ones who ask people to buy stuff.
Me: ????????

Note: pai leng means decoration purpose in Chinese

Wanna check out the crowd?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Overall the crowd was crazy. Plus the price is no difference at all! It's the same price you buy any regular day. The only difference is the free gifts they MIGHT throw in, the models, the humidity and the human traffic jam...
